Privacy policy
This policy covers the waitlist and escapayd.com. It describes what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us.
1. Who is responsible for the data
Escapayd AB (reg. no. 559477-1494) is the data controller for all data processed via escapayd.com and the waitlist. Bankaktiebolaget Nordiska (publ) processes no personal data at this stage - they enter the picture only when a real credit application is made after launch.
2. What data we process
When you join the waitlist
- name
- work email address
- phone number, if you provide one
- the name of your company or travel agency
- which business travel agency you book through, if you tell us
- approximate annual travel spend or approximate number of corporate clients, if you tell us
- mid-office or booking system, if you tell us
- time of registration, chosen language and which page it was submitted from
We never ask for personal identity numbers, card details or financial information on the waitlist.
When you visit the website
IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and which pages were visited. See section 7 on cookies.
3. Why we process it

We don't use the data to send general marketing. What you'll get from us is news about the launch and whatever you asked for yourself.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. It is shared only with suppliers who help us run the service, and only as far as needed:

Suppliers that process personal data on our behalf do so under a data processing agreement and may not use the data for their own purposes. We aim to keep all processing within the EU/EEA. Where a supplier needs to process data outside the EEA, this happens on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it

If you become a customer later, processing moves over to the full policy that applies to the service, with the retention periods that follow from accounting and anti-money-laundering rules.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what we hold about you - request a copy of your data
- have inaccurate data corrected or completed
- be erased - say the word and we'll remove you from the waitlist straight away
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- ask us to restrict processing while an objection is examined
- receive your data in a machine-readable format
- withdraw consent, without affecting processing that has already taken place
Email support@escapayd.com and we'll normally respond within a month. Leaving the waitlist requires no explanation - one email is enough.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). We would appreciate hearing from you first, so we have a chance to put it right.
7. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. We use them sparingly.

8. Changes and contact
We update this policy when the service or the rules change. The latest version is always here, dated at the top. For material changes we'll notify everyone on the waitlist by email.
